Dee and Frank
Frank Lagattuta & Dolores (Dee) Reinhardt Lagattuta

Hi everyone!  As you can see, I am writing this for Frank too.  We first met when I was 12 years old and other then our sophomore year in high school we have been together and married 45 years.  Frank owns his own business which is a steel fabricating business and is still working with our oldest son. I was lucky to be a housewife until our youngest child was in high school.  I then became an Executive Assistant with AT&T and Lucent.  I still do a little temping in that field to keep busy.  Our children have given us 5 adorable grandkids and two dogs and they are the joy of our lives.  We have all been enjoying our little beach house “down at the Jersey Shore” where Frank is an avid deep sea fisherman and I can be found hunting on the beach for sea glass and “stuff”.  We have been working on our reunions since the 15th,   I am the keeper of the lists and Frank just enjoys the meetings although I did get him to help stuff letters recently.  Our committee is super and very hard working and our meetings are a really fun time with lots of laughs.

Well Dee asked me to write something so here goes!

It's been a wild and whacky ride for me over the past 50.  I had a great career in the theatre doing 5 Broadway shows, a slew of Off-Broadway, films, TV and commercials.  I got to travel to some very intense places and got paid for it.  I lived in England in the 70's where my daughter was born and in Los Angeles later that same decade.  I am blessed with a grandson, Emmett and as I am sure you know, when you have one of those, you don't need much else to make you smile...alot!

I 'retired' two years ago and have been working harder that I ever did before.  I look forward to every day and the creativity I get to practice.  I started a computer business the year before I retired and I work 14 hour days and adore every minute of it.

I joined the local fire department seven years ago, became an EMT and instead of chasing ambulances, I ride in one.

I am very grateful to Dee for keeping this up through the years.  If she hadn't, I wouldn't be writing this.  I am so looking forward to seeing you all for the 50th and revisiting life as it was in Livingston.  It all seemed so much simpler then.

George Berg

Former Junior Class President, who managed to lose his crown in his Senior Year. Recently George was able to locate Art Christiano, who reminded George he was his campaign manager, and had introduced his candidate to the LHS assembly. Now semi-retired, except for a new business he started, George’s career has been in the insurance claim area. He spent his first 24 plus years at Chubb and Son, 12 years as Claims V.P. at the Home Insurance Company and finished with a flurry as Senior V.P at New York based carrier, Mutual Marine Office. George lives in Succasunna, N. J. with his wife Fran. They have 4 grown sons, who have so far added nearly 7 grandchildren for their pleasure. George and Fran continue to enjoy camping in their motor home, especially with the price of gas being so cheap. Isn't living on a fixed income just great?  George is our champion in finding all of you when you get "lost"!

Joan & FritzJoan Duffy Schroeder

What has been going on the life of Joan Duffy Schroeder since June 17,1959?

Well lets see, first Joan went to work right after graduation and worked as a bookkeeper for a dry cleaning and bride store in East Orange for twenty years. In her off hours she met the love of her life Fritz Schroeder. Guess where?  The old Livingston Bowling Alley where they were put on the same bowling team along with Dee Reinhardt.  In 1968,Joan and Fritz married and had one daughter (April) in 1970.  Joan and Fritz enjoyed traveling with their daughter to Germany to visit Fritz’s family, also going on vacation in the United States.  As their daughter got older, Joan and  Fritz found  cruising was what they really enjoyed.  They have been on cruises to Alaska, Bermunda,  the Islands, Mexico, the West Coast, and two river cruises in Europe. Traveling by car, air, boat  or train has always been a big part of their lives.

For the past twenty five years Joan has worked at Morristown Airport as a bookkeeper and is still there. Fritz has retired and still loves taking pictures. Fritz has been the reunions photographer since the 20th  reunion .  Joan and Fritz have no grand children as of this writing .

Joan and Fritz have not moved far from Livingston. They have lived in East Hanover in the same place for forty years and their daughter has moved back to Livingston and bought a house  which was the same style that Joan lived in for twenty five years.

Joan and Fritz enjoy family and friends over the past fifty years and have stored up many great times and  memories
Hope to see you all at the 50th

Joan and Fritz.

The Ambielli's

John Ambielli

After graduating from LHS I tried college but couldn’t find anything that interested me more than working with my father and brother in a business that eventually became Custom Alloy Corporation, where I’m still employed and loving it. My wife Barbara and I are having our 45th wedding anniversary this year, and looking forward to celebrating  with our 5 children (and their spouses) and two grandchildren.
We live in the hills of Hunterdon County with our four dogs and five cats and I enjoy all the outdoor activities that the seasons allow: fishing, hiking, biking, photography, travel. I’m also active in our church, First Christian Assembly in Plainfield, where I’m an elder/pastor.
We look forward to visiting our spread-out family (living all over New England),  and spending more and more time in Maine where we have a cottage, and plan to retire someday.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at our 50th.
